The beach party idea is a wonderful theme for birthday party. This is delightful idea and can be hosted in your backyard or if you live close to beach then you can have really beach bash. Start with designing party invitations. You can either buy party invitation cards and thank you notes from near by store. In case you are creative and are ready for some art and craftwork, start with colorful construction paper. Cut a square sheet out of construction paper (blue, brown), fold piece of construction paper in half. On one side of paper you can write birthday message on the other side of paper paste sea animal stickers.

Create a big card for beach banner, use marker pens and color to draw waves, use white paint to show splash water drops. Draw few beach umbrellas, people, chairs and lifeguard on it. This will be your center of attraction and hang it on backyard wall or keep it pinned to center table where you will cut cake. Use brown or blue construction card to cut shark or any other sea animal shape, hang them either on backyard fence or you can hang them on backyard trees or tall plants.

Beach Party Games
Volleyball - Divide two groups to play volleyball; you will need volleyball net, two poles to tie net and volleyball. This should get you going with the game.

Water balloon - You will need large dartboard either hangs it on wall or back fence. Let every child throw 3-5 balloons at the board. Record their score and at the end you can distribute the prize to winners. Good idea will be to keep small prize for everyone to keep birthday spirit high.
